B1A4's 'little sister group' scheduled to debut in April

Article: [Exclusive] 'B1A4 little sister group' to debut... 8 members scheduled for April

Source:
Star News via Naver

1. [+2,579, -75] I know this is random but why is it that there are always new idol group debuts consistently but there are never any new composer debuts. It'd be nice to have some new composers in the market.

2. [+1,907, -99] I hope they differentiate the girl group from others instead of making them B1A4 style... Don't just stick in a bunch of members hoping some of them will stick.

3. [+1,728, -99] People all look the same nowadays anyway

4. [+1,149, -271] Wishing them luck!! 8 members, looking forward to it~~! B1A4 fighting too!

5. [+1,108, -280] Supporting it~ Hopefully they can be like B1A4 and make themselves stand out

6. [+178, -26] When is WM going to support Sandeul with a solo, he's wasting his talents;

7. [+139, -32] I swear, our entire country will be celebrities at this rate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+123, -18] Hopefully they can be like B1A4 and make a name for themselves and can compose their own music

9. [+122, -21] Their company is fully funded by B1A4, that little sister group is seriously riding on their work;

10. [+112, -12] 8 members... seems like a bit much... 5 or 6 would be perfect like B1A4. But since they are a girl group from our B1A4's agency, I hope they make it and are a girl group that has a main vocal like Sandeul and composing skills like Jinyoung oppa.

  3. 8 members ???? To me a 4-6 member group would be just nice.

yeah, and if they don't they get judged or called ugly.

I think there are a lot of unknown and new composer. But since their debut is not cover by media like singer, noone know. 4minute "crazy" and Hyuna "red" composer have so much potential.

    I can see it

  9. I always see this comment when girls are debuting, when boys are debuting it's almost always missing...hm..

  10. Idols songs these days are sucks

SERIOUSLY. its always the same producers for every group. the songs start sounding the same. *cough*brave bros*cough* but i'm glad some idols are starting to self-compose their own songs :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Welcome to new kpop world. Hope this group will success as B1A4.

    ReplyDelete
  13. B1A4 had a large way to get where they are now, wont be easy for them to hit the fame. Good luck. Maybe b1a4's composers could give the girls a song.

    ReplyDelete
  14. no it's there, what I usually see if people saying too many debuts to rookie groups yet at the same time many of those people are looking forward to rookie debuts from the B3, like ikon and YGNGG

    ReplyDelete
  15. I feel really bad for rookie groups debuting at a time like this when the industry is way too saturated with idol groups. On the one hand, why bother when so many have disbanded, but on the other these teams may have been dreaming about debuting for years and training their guts out for that moment.

    Sucks both ways :(

    ReplyDelete
  16. So many idols these days I can't keep up with it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. no matter how many debut, only 4-5 actually survive the first year. most end up disbanding.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 8 members is too many. There's bound to be at least two who barely contribute much to the group. What I like about B1A4 is that all five members have their own unique charms but they still have chemistry as a group.

I'll check them out but with so many rookie girl groups there's a slim chance they'll brubg anything new. Good luck I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love KPOP fans love to cry about misogny, but when they get called out for their own double standards, they want to cry. Lmao.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I only know them for their sprout dance, the long haired guy, and Baro because he was in Reply 1994 :o

    ReplyDelete
  21. lmao can't have too many girls in this industry or they'll all just steal oppa from us. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  22. 7. [+139, -32] I swear, our entire country will be celebrities at this rate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I'm looking forward to celebrities being Korea's #1 export one day soon. Why not? Some countries export cars, some countries export oil, and then Korea "We export celebrities!" You corner that world market niche Korea!

    ReplyDelete
  23. i look forward to not listening to them

    ReplyDelete
  24. Make increasing the kpop fans from one to one days now. KPOP world is become bigger and bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  25. [+139, -32] I swear, our entire country will be celebrities at this rate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Go to Korea, walk around in Seoul to be specifically and you will understand this ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    ReplyDelete
  26. They're gonna have some trouble though. The other recent debuts:
-G-Friend's debut was pretty successful, peaked at #9 on music shows
-Lovelyz has the support of Woollim/INFINITE fans
-SONAMOO's doing pretty well from what I saw

They better have a really good name to stand out.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think what they're going for is similar to SM's huge groups. More members so at least one will appeal to you. It's more strategic if you look at it that way.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Idols are like lottery, you bet on them until you win the jackpot.

    ReplyDelete
  29. lmao there are way too many rookie boy groups too tho

    ReplyDelete
  30. Welps I've been looking forward to this because there have been rumors floating around since last year about the new girl group under WM ent, I just want b1a4 to have a labelmate ^-^

    ReplyDelete
  31. seo jae woo's songs sound similar to each other. he could improve on the production of the songs. the trap beats of red and crazy are similar. the bridges sound really similar.

    ReplyDelete
  32. don't forget red velvet either, i think all girl group rookies will have a difficult time up against them, especially because they're from a huge company that can market them well.

    ReplyDelete
  33. red velvet and mamamoo are strong competitors as well..

    ReplyDelete
  34. Details about Sonamoo's progress? I haven't been keeping up with them, but I was worried about their debut (what with the lawsuit and ill-feeling that TS has generated).

    ReplyDelete
  35. It's probably going to be the group to include Baro's little sister so I'm looking forward to that most of all

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think his point is that we know there are all too many groups, but such a comment will only get top comment when a girl from a lesser known company is debuting. Just like how people are tired of the cute and sexy concepts, but when a boy group recycles the played out hip-hop concept or boy next door concept, they are SOOOOOOO refreshing and SLAAAAAAAY.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jinyoung will probably give them a cute composition, but chances are this group will get to try self-compositions a bit as well considering the relative musical freedom B1A4 has

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh man, they're a new girl group meaning it's gonna be hard.

    ReplyDelete
  39. YES FINALLY I've been waiting forever

    9. [+122, -21] Their company is fully funded by B1A4, that little sister group is seriously riding on their work;

Well everyone has to start somewhere...but they've been training for at least 4 years apparently so they probably trained under the same circumstances B1A4 did. It's not like they're immediately being given fancy practice rooms and huge dorms - which imo shouldn't even be a bad thing given how terribly some idols are treated.

I really hope they have a unique sound and that the members mesh together as well as B1A4 does. It's the 2 things that make them stand out for me so it'll be nice to see that in their sister group ^_^

    and kinda ot but

    6. [+178, -26] When is WM going to support Sandeul with a solo, he's wasting his talents;

Just because a member doesn't release solo songs/albums it doesn't mean their company isn't supporting them though? He's had a lot of chances to show off his talent and the public knows how good of a singer he is.

    ReplyDelete
  40. still. the double standards are always there. there are way more hateful comments on female idols' articles compared to male idols.

    ReplyDelete
  41. These days (for girl groups) you only really get noticed if you have a popular oppa group/label with fans that want to support you or if you get lucky and go viral so I think these girls will do fine.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not really, lol. Groups like BTS, B.A.P, VIXX, Uniq, Monsta X are always being looked forward to as soon as visual teasers drop, but when a girl group debuts it's a giant headache and the market is oversaturated. When a boy group debuts, the chances of a "I don't care what anyone else says, I'm looking forward to it" comment will probably be on top and not a "too many rookie groups" comment. I mean think about it, the person saying this has Kai as their profile picture, who was a rookie (and still kinda is) not too long ago.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well this is only the 2nd group WMEnt has released so they'll have quite a bit of support. Plus, with this group it's likely Baro's little sister will be debuting, which means that Bana will likely support them as well. It's not a bad way to lock in at least some guaranteed supporters right off the bat.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Too many groups. Geez market is completely saturated. Everyone will be coming back at the same time...unless you are established group...I don't think no one is going to make any money.

    ReplyDelete
  45. YGNGG: I've been waiting 100 years. I'm too invested now, tbh. Even if a billion new groups debut, I'm still going to be anxious for this group to debut, just because I've already spent years waiting on them.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah it's unlikely that anyone would media play about new composers.

    ReplyDelete
  47. So many group debuting and failing at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Im excited for them <3 WM<333

    ReplyDelete
  49. is Korea ever will get saturated of too much artists in their country?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Sandeul has also had two musical roles which in most cases are more lucrative for raising his profile than a solo would.

I really really hope this is Baro's sister's debut as well. I've been looking forward to her debut since we found out she was a trainee. I might not have much room in my life (err.....wallet) for another group but I'll be anticipating their debut.

    ReplyDelete
  51. [+139, -32] I swear, our entire country will be celebrities at this rate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  52. I get used to it now. Maybe because there're new groups like Winner or upcoming group like YGNGG or iKON that makes me start to like new group more. The feeling of watching rookies growing to be superstar. I feel proud tbh. You can just ignore them tbh. It's not like they creep into your tv to annoy you or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  53. IntenseFeelings_UglySobbingFebruary 19, 2015 at 10:52 PM

I mean you have the plenty of koreaboo fangirls that are willing to suck every new male idol dick that comes out, but a majority of people still complain about too many idols regardless of the gender.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Me too but SNSD did just fine until 9/30 jessica-gate

    ReplyDelete
  55. I guess I'm already too old for kpop now, I only enthusiast about second generations;

    ReplyDelete
  56. is Korea ever will get saturated of too much artists in their country? seems all their youngsters aims to be celebrity

    ReplyDelete
  57. better be amazing cause the market is mad saturated and if you don't stand out, you'll fade out. fast.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I hope they go with a different style... I'm not that fond to B1a4 type of music but, we'll see

    ReplyDelete
  59. That's true, that's how I usually explain SNSD to people. And it's true that all 8 probably won't stand out right from the start. But with so many idols in the market right now it kind of makes sense to cut down a group to the essentials. WM doesn't have SM's marketing tactics or ability to attract stans for unremarkable idols. B1A4 doesn't have any "spares" and they've done just fine.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Okay... I'll act like suprising then ''wow omo ottoke''

    ReplyDelete
  61. Okay... I'll act like suprised then ''wow omo ottoke''

    ReplyDelete
  62. weren't really that many boy rookie groups that debuted this year though :/

    ReplyDelete
  63. "little sister" "little brother" groups. Let's see how well they'll do with all the groups debuting these days.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah solos usually do well if they're from a top tier group or if they have a popular artist collaborating with them. I like that he's slowly raising his profile through different platforms.

I'm a sucker for idol siblings so I'm looking forward to her debut as well! I hope it's not just rumours.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think it might be because girl groups get a lot of media play through their company, but boy groups from smaller companies tend to debut a lot quieter?

    ReplyDelete
  66. you can never have too many debuts!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I named those three cause they were the most recent. Red Velvet was a little before the others and have already promoted two songs.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I was referring more to the most recent debuts. Mamamoo and Red Velvet have already promoted more than once. The ones I named only had debuts so far.

    ReplyDelete
  69. how are sonamoo doing well? their song didn't even make it into the top 100, other rookies sold more albums than them, and the bap fandom hates them lol

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm seeing them named in a ton of articles for no reason so clearly their name has gotten out there lol

    ReplyDelete
  71. It's probably cause most of the commenters are pubescent girls who love their oppas?

I do think the market is saturated and there is too many groups overall but I do think that there is an influx of girl groups. Probably the main reason is because there more marketable and public friendly with boy groups you have to build a fanbase with a girl group you only need one good song to become very popular ie exid, GsD, Sistar, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  72. well articles alone don't bring in a lot of $$$ and the only places where their name has gotten out are international kpop news sites

maybe they'll gain more fans with their next comeback even tho i doubt it, their concept is a mess and if they keep releasing songs that sound as out-dated as dejavu they will never make it

    ReplyDelete
  73. How often do boy groups even get articles here though, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think part of them wanting to debut comes from escaping the education system.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I don't know about the other groups, but vixx had a poor debut, they didn't have many people looking forward to them, as well as their follow-up song. They had many people question their debut.

    ReplyDelete
  76. yes.. even thought they will not changes our life.. why we have to complaint about this

    ReplyDelete
  77. Brave Bros is starting to vary part of his melody composition but some lyrics(like having the group's name as part of the lyrics) remains.

    ReplyDelete
  78. [+178, -26] When is WM going to support Sandeul with a solo, he's wasting his talents;

    Sandeul SOLO

    PLEASE.

TO SAVE THIS PLANET FROM DESTRUCTION

    SANDEUL SOLO

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wish there could be one announcing a non big-3 boy group debut.

    ReplyDelete
  80. what do you expect when the thirst is mainly coming from straight females

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yup. Like JYP 6MIX and that boy band they are going to debut. At the end of the day, rookies from big companies will definitely survive.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Wow this is like B1A4's debut all over again- the netizen response is the same...
It took a few years for B1A4 build up their popularity from literally nothing and look where they are now... I say good luck to these girls and I'm looking forward to it. As a Bana, I gotta stay positive haha

    ReplyDelete
  83. That comment got me dying lol. Its so sarcastic

    ReplyDelete
  84. Good luck girls. I hope you guys do well like B1A4 too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. 1. [+2,579, -75] I know this is random but why is it that there are always new idol group debuts consistently but there are never any new composer debuts. It'd be nice to have some new composers in the market.

Go listen to ukiss latest album. They are using rookie composers.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yeah, but Soshi is from SM and debuted quite a while ago. Most girl groups with a lot of members don't end up doing well especially if they're from a small company that can't handle them (9muses come to mind, specifically). And I think companies know this, I mean...the only somewhat recent group I can think of with a high number of members that has done pretty well is AOA. Otherwise...not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  87. NB Can you translate article about Kim Jang-hoon illegal downloads controversial lol
    http://mimgnews1.naver.net/image/018/2015/02/20/PS15022000059g_99_20150220115003.jpg?type=a597_q90

    ReplyDelete
  88. That reminds me, in an episode of One Fine Day you can actually spot Baro's sister's name (Cha Yoonji) on one of the WM practice room cubbies hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  89. That's a pretty big number for a girl group these days honestly. I feel like companies sort of 'get' that girl groups are harder to market and don't sell as much merch. Girl groups tend to rely on being popular to a broad audience who will buy/stream their music digitally, so less members is better. Meanwhile boy groups don't have to rely on appealing to the public as much so big (but manageable for the company) amount of members works better because it means more merch to sell to the young fangirls with disposable income.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to their debut and I hope they at least stand out in some way!

    ReplyDelete
  90. for all you know that person might have not be interested in exo at all when they debuted lol don't be so absolute on people's reasons to write what they write.

exo themselves were considered "too overhyped" and "nugus" for a long time until they weren't.

i mean i get what you are trying to say but use coherent logic not logic that is worn thin by loopholes.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Depends on the person. I'm just like: more? In general now. I can't even keep up with all the groups coming out. It's crazy. At some point there's going to be enough idols to populate a small country. :/

    ReplyDelete
  92. I prefer solo singer than group, idk why girl group and boy group nowadays make me bored

    ReplyDelete
  93. Wow, I can't wait for Lovelyz to debut again! :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. When they debuted most groups where pretty small, max being 5-6. I think only suju was bigger then them at the time. Now, you'd be lucky to have a 3-5 member group debut, but back then that was the norm. Times have really changed.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Yeah but they debuted at a time before the market was saturated with constant debuts. It wasn't easy, but still not as hard as it is to make it now.

    ReplyDelete
  96. But then why do idols like Namjoo still wants to get a degree after becoming an idol? LOL. It is better to be an idol first then have a celebrity special treatment to get to to the school you want.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Lol or remembering the names of all the student at school. Ain't happening.

    ReplyDelete
  98. BTS and BAP had a lot of hype behind them, a rareity for non B3 groups, Vixx weren't popular from the moment they debuted, Uniq's main hype came from people thinking they were a YG group, I haven't heard much from MonstaX but I would hardly call Starship a nugu agency.

    ReplyDelete
  99. [+2,579, -75] I know this is random but why is it that there are always new idol group debuts consistently but there are never any new composer debuts. It'd be nice to have some new composers in the market.

There probably are new composers debuting all the time, but you don't hear about them because they have less recognition than the popular ones such as Duble Sidekick & Brave Brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Or SM's ever-favorite Yoo Youngjin

    ReplyDelete
  101. Give sandeul a solo, help jinyoung & baro with their composing and producing, give baro some more activities in cf or small dramas, give gongchan some pictorials. Promote b1a4 they have a lot of potential and talents.

    ReplyDelete
  102. At least with girl groups the concepts are interesting but with boy bands its all just "I'm going to rap miserably while whining about how I love this girl who's probably too good for me as I take off my shirt".

    ReplyDelete
  103. Exactly .. but what can we do rather then look forward to it

    https://eugephemisms.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/off-timing-gif.gif

    ReplyDelete
  104. it's jo eun hee.

    ReplyDelete
  105. You win the internet

    ReplyDelete
  106. it's true. Eunji, Luna ... 're better than her. Ask any vocal major people. No offence but Soji/s skill 's overrated by k-net

    ReplyDelete
  107. yeah i think she works hard because apink didn't have some solo activities like namjoo.. namjoo don't have solo activities so i think she can attend and study in her class.........

    ReplyDelete
  108. playDiYoh 플레이됴February 20, 2015 at 12:05 AM

For Kyungsoo stans, they might be waiting for this haha

    ReplyDelete
  109. Girl's Day came out of the blue too, that's why I said they should be careful. I love Minah and Hyeri so I hope their careers keep growing.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I like both groups. I am just saying, and music is cutthroat, so someone has to fall for another to rise.

    ReplyDelete
  111. omge that's so good!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  112. I think it's even worse if the rookie girl group is debuting with an oppa senior group in the same agency since those crazy fangirls of the oppa group will maybe try to attack the rookie girl group for being "too close" with "their" oppas.

This has happened multiple times in K-POP's history like when SNSD debuted they were criticized by crazy fangirls of SuJu and TVXQ and resulted in the iconic "Black Ocean" incident.

More recently, the same thing is happening again with AOA getting hate for being "too comfortable" with CNBLUE members, especially Yonghwa.

    ReplyDelete
  113. we know shes smart and please protect namjoo too please :(

    ReplyDelete
  114. 7. [+139, -32] I swear, our entire country will be celebrities at this rate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Seems like it to me. XD
There's so many of them that more than half the idols are probably just treated as regular citizens cos no one recognises them as celebs and a lot of nugu groups out there fade out of the scene without anyone ever knowing they were idols in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  115. lol Pann= pressed fangirl.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Unrelated but why I always see Jaejoong in Jonghyun. Why oh why.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I honestly don't think it's so controversial.

    ReplyDelete
  118. tha kai one actually looks so much like him

    ReplyDelete
  119. WOWAHWOAHA are you sure this is not photoshopped wow. this looks like him!!!!! WOAhAHaha

    ReplyDelete
  120. I will wait until this man debut.. dont understand and dont remember other groups except snsd, 2ne1, fx..

    ReplyDelete
  121. I loved her in I Feel Good. She's my bias.

    ReplyDelete
  122. if yg stick to his plans and allow bigbang come back in April theses girls will have a failed debut

    ReplyDelete
  123. that comment is on Pann, the house of pressed oppa fangirls.lol/ Apink's popularity in korea is no joke. i-fans just saw real man negative article and quickly judge that bomi is hated a lot. Bomi has positive article that have 19k upvotes. lol. In fact, Apink's music and popularity is more relevant than their oppas'. And half of the member (Eunji/Naeun/Bomi) is well-known to the public

    ReplyDelete
  124. aigoo, that form suzy article...no wonder..stupid fanwar

    ReplyDelete
  125. SeoHyun lookalike is hilarious. Ok girl. Sure.

    ReplyDelete
  126. yes, too many idol groups. is being an idol a thing in skorea? i wonder how many hidden trainees there are, and i don't wish to know.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Seriously, that comment is on Pann, the house of pressed oppa fangirls.lol/ Apink's popularity in korea is no joke. i-fans just saw real man negative article and quickly judge that bomi is hated a lot. Bomi has positive article that have 19k upvotes. lol. In fact, Apink's music and popularity is more relevant than their oppas'. And half of the member (Eunji/Naeun/Bomi) is well-known to the public

    ReplyDelete
  128. OHMG is that a girl? if you didn't say, i would have thought that's v. WHAT'S HER NAME

    ReplyDelete
  129. last i heard they r getting a reality show?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Junjin is really pretty.. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  131. New groups debuting isn't the problem. The question is can this groups stay in the industry for long? :)

    ReplyDelete
  132. yeah they had a small fandom to start with and their company wasn't a big one either. but i'm glad they are being more and more recognized.
as for girl groups, i just hope people give as much attention as they do to boy groups. all in all, it is just the same type of music they are giving us, that is K-pop.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Good luck ladies. You'll definetly need it.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Heard it. dont know if because i don't understand a word..but nothing happening to me. so different from the time i listen to ailee covers Halo.
    ....nothing special

    ReplyDelete
  135. it's amazing how she resembles yoona so much

    ReplyDelete
  136. [+33, -6] Are they joking ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She's honestly uglier and has a worse
body than non-celebrity women, she can't sing, she can't dance, she's
never tried acting... she got in purely based off of her A Pink
    popularity. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

this comment really hurting my heart >:'(

  137. She will soon be offered with OST song to sing.

  138. Lmao I'm the one getting defensive? You're the one making some gross ass generalizations about Korea. Just so you know, I fully acknowledge that Korea takes beauty standards to a different level, but don't deny they're not the only ones who have serious issues. I live in America for fuck's sake where white and slim are the ideal and it's quite evident judging from our media. Minorities here barely have any representation at all and that's pretty fucking bad considering how racially diverse our country is.

There aren't people trying to change society, you say? Out of the 50 mill+ people in Korea, not one person thinks "hey, our country is pretty fucked up, we should do something about it!" or "I see that person's feeling down about their looks so I'm gonna help them feel better!" Yup, because every single Korean is just a superficial asshole who will tell you to get PS if you don't fit their standards. Seriously, how are you gonna generalize like that?

I'm going to assume you've never even lived in Korea and are just basing your accusations on the negative comments you read here on NB which do NOT represent the entirety of the country (NB even states this herself in the FAQ).

    ReplyDelete
  139. Calling out whose double standards? The person who made the top comment or the person you're responding to? There's also such a thing as being presumptuous.

  140. Also female idol groups seem to be born with iljin rumors attached to them, never with any substantial evidence.

    ReplyDelete
  141. And Seohyun ever said this:"I want to proof to people that idols are not just people who can sing and dance, but I want to proof that idols can excel in education too. I want to get rid of the stereotype of people on idols are not good in study." :)

  149. Again, that was some stupid ass rumors about Taecyeon, and he didn't get into because 'special treatment'. You should see his interviewed about this so called scandal, he said his lecturer just asked him to stand there so his classmate can take a picture of him and he did take the exam, he look awfully like that because he had injured his hands because of arms- reselling with Junho xD
Taecyeon's presentation in his class (141103) in a instagram video but the person already delete it.His doing great! 2PM are in the middle of tours and concerts and yet he still managed to come back and give his presentation even though they had just arrived from Beijing.

  151. If barely happens anymore though. Exo fans didn't go crazy over Red Velvet.

  152. I don't think it's as difficult as many think, if your goal is just to survive. Especially for girl groups, they have live event opportunities of all kinds avail to them. And according to Yewon(Jewelry(RIP)) you just need one or two event a month to get going. And if you stick around long enough then one or more of three things MAY happen 1) gather enough hardcore fans, 2) you get a real legit hit song, or 3) you get a viral hit(Crayon Pop) or attract attention somehow(Exid maybe)

And if you are a high school junior/senior with so-so grades, then idol life may not look so bad: all the good jobs will be taken by others from good colleges, so you will wind up working at a convenience store for minimum wages, and absolutely no prospect for bigger and better things(BBT). Or maybe no jobs at all..... On the other hand, being an idol means you have at least have a hope, however slim of that chance it may be, for BBT.

  153. It's fucking annoying tbh.

  161. I myself actually blurred her ig id so that she won't be creeped out by unnecessary comments so I'm sure this is not photoshopped :D

  162. People who don't really follow Apink don't know the details so they can assume what they want I guess?
Hayoung and Namjoo, for the duration they attended highschool, didn't have many activities outside Apink because of school. Namjoo graduated last year, and this year she participated in more group activities. Hayoung graduated recently and decided to pursue Apink's activities and put school on the back burner, unlike Namjoo who chose school first.
This is also probably why Naeun hasn't acted in a why and hasn't done much since WGM. She's in University too, and is often seen going to school.

  163. No lies were spoken. Hani is literally well rounded in terms of talents. Co-lead vocalist with Hyelim, dances well(duh),plays clarinet and guitar, raps well, has IQ of 145 and speaks passable English and Mandarin.Just needed to put it out there for those who only know Hani from the viral fancam.

    1. [+2,579, -75] I know this is random but why is it that there are always new idol group debuts consistently but there are never any new composer debuts. It'd be nice to have some new composers in the market.

uhh...maybe bcuz there aren't articles for every composer 'debuts' since they're not as nearly as commercialized as singers?

    ReplyDelete
  166. To think, there's someone out there with my face #doppelganger

    ReplyDelete
  167. That first girl isn't Janjin (Junjin's alterego)???

    ReplyDelete
  168. Maybe because it seems like there are nugu girl groups debuting from unknown companies nowadays compared to boy groups. And Kai (and other big3 groups are exception because... well, theyre from the big 3)

    ReplyDelete
  169. The industry is so saturated with idol groups that looking at music shows before 2008 to now is like night and day. You watch the shows now and they'll be 6 comebacks the same day. Forget about the Gayos. There's no way all those groups could attend. They really need music shows exclusively for rookies and less popular groups. The major shows should be for big name comebacks and acts with hit songs and chart topping albums. Only rookies debuts with major buzz should get a spot on the major shows. After that they should have to earn their way in. Cutting the endless sea of performances by idols who aren't even charting could free up space for acts who have a lot of buzz for producing amazing music but yet never get invited to these shows.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Lmao fact!! Even the "nugu" girl groups are more well known than boy groups.

    ReplyDelete
  171. All the comments and lookalike pics just made my night lmao 😂

    ReplyDelete
  172. yikes ppl actually say that about rookie boy groups?

    how about WINNER?

    ReplyDelete
  175. yeah people throw some words so fast when they are not knowing some facts... haysss when did people grow up seriously..

    ReplyDelete
  176. Really? Being an idol trainee sounds like hell to me. It's not that easy if you consider how many groups end up disbanding these days. The company runs out of money, it's not the like those who try to stick it out can. There are plenty of idol groups who have debuted with great songs and haven't made it, and virality is a very difficult thing to achieve.

    ReplyDelete
  177. i think she works hard on studying cause she is the most not active in tv like hayoung and even late at other events because of her school

  181. They just need to work hard and find their own unique style that makes them stand tall among other rookie groups. If Mamamoo can do it, why can't the others?

    ReplyDelete
  182. She took a later flight to take the exam before flying to Taiwan.

    ReplyDelete
  183. The music industry had already become a battle royale for rookie groups. Mostof them barely survived the first year, some even had members leaving after few months debuting. I wish them good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  184. In other news I am now into their leader Perseverance Goo Hae Ra helped but their music stll not my style

  185. But how about B1A4's comeback?? TT__TT
I heard they would comeback on April - is it true? TT__TT
Random, but Jinyoung is doing so so so fine in Persevere!!! His singing finally shines <3

    ReplyDelete
  186. Isn't it a suicide for the group? Because BIGBANG and IU are doing a comeback in April. I don't think it is a good timing. Furthermore the company should concentrate on making B1A4 more famous because even if they are quite famous now they still aren't at the level of BEAST or SHINee :/

    ReplyDelete
  187. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 cracking up hahaha
