Article talks about how with slowing interest in Hallyu in Japan, K-Pop debuts now are trending towards having an established senior to back you up/set some ground while it's nearly impossible for no name rookies to even get in.

1. [+1,932, -162] All of the idols making money in Japan right now need to be grateful to BoA and TVXQ.

2. [+1,540, -102] After hearing that TVXQ had to sing with mics on top of stairs somewhere, it truly showed how much they suffered to get to where they are... Other singers really need to be grateful to TVXQ and BoA.

3. [+1,317, -91] Even Koreans are tired of Hallyu, can't imagine foreigners.

4. [+955, -35] I think it's a good thing! It was hilarious how everyone thought they could advance into Japan and now there will be less comics made putting down Korean artists!!

5. [+881, -68] Don't really care whether they're popular in Japan or not. As long as we like them.

6. [+177, -5] It's only called the K-Pop wave in name. Realistically, the idol market died after the second generation idols, which still hold big fandoms today.

7. [+179, -12] Aside from TVXQ, JYJ, SNSD, KARA, and Big Bang, anyone else mentioned in the media has exaggerated popularity in Japan. 2PM has a small mania fanbase while Big Bang, TVXQ, and JYJ are publicly known over there.

8. [+135, -6] Because anyone who gets a little popular in Korea runs off to Japan so easily. Even if they make more money there, they're bound to fall apart if they don't have a strong fandom to hold fort while they're overseas. Look at SISTAR, they focused on Korea only and now they eventually reached the top.
